Grant 21 - Prayers in honor of the Saints and Blesseds
A partial indulgence is granted to the faithful who on the memorial of any saint listed in the calendar recite in that saint’s honor the prayer taken from the Missal or another one approved by legitimate authority.
In addition, in order to promote the veneration of newly proclaimed saints and blessed, a plenary indulgence is granted a single time within the year following the canonization or beatification to those faithful who make a visit to a church or an oratory in which a solemn celebrations is held in honor of the saint or blessed, and who there devoutly recite the Our Father and the Creed. To any of the faithful who make the aforesaid pious visit during the same period, a partial indulgence is granted.

Grant 22 - Novenas, Litanies, and the Little Offices
A partial indulgence is granted to the faithful who:
devoutly assist at public novenas (e.g., prior to the Solemnities of the Nativity of the Lord, or of Pentecost, or of the Immaculate Conception of the Blessed Virgin Mary);
devoutly recite approved litanies (e.g., of the Most Holy Name of Jesus, the Most Sacred Heart of Jesus, the Most Precious Blood of Our Lord Jesus Christ, the Blessed Virgin Mary, St. Joseph, and of the Saints);
piously recite an approved little office (e.g., of the Passion of Our Lord Jesus Christ, the Most Sacred Heart of Jesus, the Blessed Virgin Mary, the Immaculate Conception, or St. Joseph).

Grant 23 - Prayers of the Eastern Churches
A plenary indulgence is granted to the faithful who devoutly recite the Akathistos Hymn or the Office of the Paraclisis in a church or oratory, or in a family, a religious community, or an association of the faithful, and in general when several of the faithful gather for some honest purpose. In other circumstances, the indulgence will be partial.Regarding the plenary indulgence for the recitation of the hymn Akathistos, it need not be recited in full, but it suffices that there be an uninterrupted recitation of some suitable part, according to legitimate custom.Among the faithful of the Eastern Churches, where the practice of these devotions does not exist, other similar exercises in honor of the Blessed Virgin Mary, as established by the patriarchs, enjoy the same indulgences.
A partial indulgence is granted to the faithful who, in accordance with particular times and circumstances, devoutly recite one of the following prayers: a Prayer of Thanksgiving (from the Armenian tradition); Evening Prayer, Prayer for the Faithful Departed (from the Byzantine Tradition); the Prayer of the Sanctuary, the Prayer “Lakhu Mara” known as To You, O Lord, (from the Chaldean Tradition); a Prayer for the Offering of Incense, Prayer to Glorify Mary, the Mother of God (from the Coptic Tradition); Prayer for the Remission of Sins, Prayer for Following in the Footsteps of Christ (from the Ethiopian Tradition); Prayer for the Church, Prayer After the Celebration of the Liturgy (from the Maronite Tradition), and the Intercessions for the Faithful Departed from the Liturgy of St. James (from the Syro-Antiochian Tradition).

Grant 24 - Prayers for Benefactors
A partial indulgence is granted to the faithful who, moved by supernatural gratitude, devoutly recite a duly approved prayer for benefactors (e.g., Retribuere dignare, Domine).

Grant 25 - Prayers for Pastors
A partial indulgence is granted to the faithful who:
in a spirit of filial devotion, devoutly recite any duly approved prayer for the Supreme Pontiff (e.g., the Oremus pro Pontifice);
similarly, devoutly recite a prayer taken from the Missal for the bishop of an eparchy or diocese on the occasion of the beginning of his pastoral ministry or on its anniversary.

Grant 26 - Prayers of Supplication and Acts of Thanksgiving
A plenary indulgence is granted to the faithful who:
the Veni Creator, either on the first day of the year to implore divine assistance for the course of the whole year, or on the solemnity of Pentecost;
the Te Deum, on the final day of the year, to offer thanks to God for gifts received throughout the course of the entire year.
A partial indulgence is granted to the faithful who:
at the beginning and the end of the day,
in starting and completing their work,
before and after meals,
devoutly offer some legitimately approved prayer of supplication and act of thanksgiving (e.g., Actiones nostras; Adsumus; Agimus Tibi gratias; Benedic, Domine; Domine, Deus Omnipotens; Exaudi nos; the Te Deum; the Veni Creator; the Veni Sancte Spiritus; Visita, quaesumus, Domine).

Grant 27 - A priest’s first mass and jubilee celebrations of ordination
A plenary indulgence is granted to:
a priest celebrating his first Mass before the people on a chosen day;
the faithful who devoutly assist at such a Mass.
Similarly, a plenary indulgence is granted to:
priests celebrating the twenty-fifth, fiftieth, sixtieth, and seventieth anniversary of their priestly ordinations, who renew before God their promise of faithfully fulfilling the duties of their vocation;
bishops celebrating the twenty-fifth, fortieth, and fiftieth anniversaries of their episcopal ordination, who renew before God their promise of faithfully fulfilling the duties of their office;
the faithful who devoutly assist at jubilee Mass celebrations.

Grant 28 - Profession of Faith and Acts of the Theological Virtues
A plenary indulgence is granted to the faithful who, at the celebration of the Easter Vigil or on the anniversary of their own Baptism, renew their baptismal vows in any legitimately approved formula.
A partial indulgence is granted to the faithful who:
renew their baptismal vows in any formula;
devoutly sign themselves with the sign of the cross, using the customary words: In the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit. Amen;
devoutly recite either the Apostles’ Creed or the Niceno-Constantinopolitan Creed;
recite an Act of Faith, Hope, and Charity in any legitimate formula.

Grant 29 - For the Faithful Departed
A plenary indulgence, applicable only to the souls in purgatory, is granted to the faithful who,
on any and each day from November 1 to 8, devoutly visit a cemetery and pray, if only mentally, for the departed;
on All Souls’ Day (or, according to the judgment of the ordinary, on the Sunday preceding or following it, or on the solemnity of All Saints), devoutly visit a church or an oratory and recite an Our Father and The Creed.
A partial indulgence, applicable only to the souls in purgatory, is granted to the faithful who:
devoutly visit a cemetery and at least mentally pray for the dead;
devoutly recite lauds or vespers from the Office of the Dead, or the prayer Eternal rest.

Grant 30 - Reading of Sacred Scripture
A partial indulgence is granted to the faithful who read the Sacred Scriptures as spiritual reading, from a text approved by competent authority and with the reverence due to the divine word, for any time that is less than half an hour.
If for some good reason a person is unable to read the Sacred Scriptures, a partial indulgence is granted, as above, if the text of Sacred Scripture is listened to while another person is reading or if it is heard by means of a video or audio recording.
